Claim creator fees
There are four ways to prove you represent a game—each path is described per title on that game's page after you find it in the store. Three paths require Steam sign-in; default intent uses the six-character code from step 1 (Steam sign-in + wallet) on the game page, posted on an official store-linked social channel.
Automated — X.com and the Steam store page
On the game's page, use Continue with X. We read the official Steam store HTML for that app, find which X (Twitter) account Valve lists for the developer, and compare it to the X identity you authorize with us. When the handles line up, verification is automatic—no forum post and no operator queue for that match.
Manual — Steam Community forum or news post
After Steam sign-in, you paste a URL to a forum thread or news item on Steam Community where that same Steam account posted. We cross-check the author against your signed-in Steam identity, then an operator reviews the submission before approval.
Manual — X.com outreach
Please reach out to us through x.com and we will verify you through a manual step process and assure fees get redirected to your account.
Default intent — store-linked social post
On each game's page, after step 1 (Steam + wallet), you get a six-character code tied to your claim id (wallet + that title's app id). Post that code on any official social account linked on that game's public Steam store page (X, Discord, YouTube, and similar links Valve lists). Use click to copy on the game page, then publish on one of those channels so we can match your claim during review.
Automated X and manual forum paths require Steam sign-in. Use Browse store to pick a game, then the developer panel on that page for any of the four paths.
